Alfred E. Neuman from Mad in POP

One of the most famous mascots and cover artist of Mad magazine, Alfred E. Neuman is now also popified by Funko. The character with the tousled orange hair, the smile with the missing tooth and the ears largely unstuck is perfectly recognizable on this POP with his effigy!

Mad is a satirical magazine created by William Gaines in 1952 which deals with all the American POP culture and tackles politics in a very offbeat tone. Made famous by its mascot whose fetish phrase is "What, me worry? (which can be translated as "What do I care?"), Mad has tackled sensitive issues over the years: the Vietnam War, hippies and drug abuse.

As a cultural monument, Mad magazine and its mascot Alfred E. Neuman are completely part of POP culture and it is therefore fair that Neuman enters the "popified" characters.
