Discover the Umbrella Academy figures
The Umbrella Academy is a series adapted from a comic book and produced by Netflix. The initial plot is based on the simultaneous births of children with exceptional powers and whose respective mothers were not pregnant a few minutes before... It is thus at noon on October 1st, 1989 that 43 children with powers were born at the same time.
Sir Reginald Hargreeves, an eccentric billionaire, adopts seven of these children to form the Umbrella Academy, a team of superheroes who will protect the world. The Hargreeves brothers and sisters are educated the hard way, focusing on training and missions, with their father not even calling them by their first names but by numbers.
There is Number 1, Luther, who is endowed with superhuman strength, Diego (Number 2) who can direct the objects he throws, Number 3 is Allison who has the ability to manipulate thoughts, Klaus is Number 4 and can summon the dead, Five (has no first name?), and Five (has no second name?). ) can teleport himself in space and time, Ben (number 6) can make tentacles appear out of his body and finally Vanya is number 7 but has no power, at least that's what she thinks until she discovers that she can transform sounds into energy.
The Umbrella Academy is shaken by terrible events starting with the mysterious disappearance of Five who gets stuck for 17 years in the future, but also by the death of Ben during a mission. The clan explodes and every child, except Luther, leaves the academy. They will only come back to the academy after their father's death and will finally all be reunited to face a terrifying threat: the Apocalypse.
Umbrella Academy POP action figures are perfect for fans of the series. Funko has gone big by offering POPs of the main characters (of course there are all the Hargreeves kids) and recurring characters like the Pogo Butler or the killers Cha-Cha and Hazel sent by the Time Commission.
