About the Asterix & Obelix #0000 POP! figure
Asterix and Obelix are the two main characters in the Asterix comic strip. Living in their Gaulish village on the side of Armorique, they help their village to resist Julius Caesar who wants to conquer all of Gaul.
Asterix is the eponymous hero of the comic strip. Small and skinny, Asterix is a very cunning warrior. Somehow, in contrast, Obelix is tall, stout and above all endowed with extraordinary strength since he fell into the pot of magic potion as a child. Their pair, often accompanied by the dog Dogmatix, is formidable in thwarting the Roman emperor's shenanigans.
The two Gauls will travel the world, crossing Europe and going as far as Egypt to face Julius Caesar. Relying on the intelligence of Asterix and the strength of Obelix, they will overcome the trials and tribulations of Julius Caesar and do everything in their power to protect their village.
Funko offers a pack of two exceptional figurines with Asterix's POP and Obelix's POP. The two Gauls are represented in the outfits they wear on almost all the boards of the Goscinny and Uderzo comic strip.
Asterix is wearing his red trousers and black T-shirt. At his waist, we find his green belt where the case of his sword is fixed. He is holding it in his right hand (although it should be noted that Asterix only uses his sword very rarely to defend himself!) On his head, we find the iron helmet accompanied by the two small wings so characteristic of the profile of the Gaul.
For his part, Obelix is depicted in his striped trousers which reach up to his chest, green belt at the waist and helmet on his head. His figurine makes a wink at the sulky side as he stands with his arms folded and one can easily imagine him saying that he's not fat but simply wrapped up!
The Asterix and Obelix POP figures are in the image of the two Gauls. You can recognise their atypical physique with their blond and red moustaches, slightly protruding ears, well defined eyebrows and the imposing nose in the middle of the figure. Gallic figurines that will look great in the middle of your collection!
