The adventures of Casper the friendly ghost have been adapted in different formats: the original comic book, but also animated series and more recently movies and even video games! The common point of all these adaptations remains the friendly character of this little ghost who refuses to scare men.
The ghost Casper lives in a mansion with his three uncles: Bouffi, Crado and Teigneux who are presented as the bad guys, somewhat stupid, and often create humorous situations in spite of themselves.
The synopsis of the film that made Casper a little more popular, released in 1995, tells how the little ghost befriends a young girl, Kathleen, while the latter is there with her father on a mission to scare away the spirits that haunt the manor.
Funko makes a nice nod to this great classic of animation and pays a beautiful tribute to one of the most endearing characters : Casper. The first POP revealed is of course in the effigy of the little ghost where he can be found floating in the air!
