POP Pain Rikudô (Glows in the Dark) (Naruto Shippuden)

During most of the Naruto adventure, one of the main enemy figures to appear on the path of the Konoha ninjas was the Akatsuki. This organization of Nukenins (deserted ninjas), all coming from different hidden villages, was quite remarkable for its atrocities of all kinds. Each of its members has indeed a history of drama and tragedy, sowing death in order to reach a common and not very praiseworthy goal.

This organization was founded by a ninja whose identity is unknown to all members except Konan. Nagato, in fact, is the one who has gathered around him the most monstrous ninjas in terms of power in order to be able to get his hands on the Bijûs, these fantastic beasts having several tails, each one being sealed in the body of a host.

Although he never showed his real face to his acolytes, Nagato always manifested himself in another form, that of Pain. Pain was one of the six bodies that Nagato controlled remotely through Rikudô, his manipulation jutsu. Pain acted as a proxy and was the official face of the Akatsuki, even though he did not put himself forward very much.

When the members of Akatsuki ran out of people to defeat, Pain was appointed to attack the village of Konoha head on. The 6 corps of the Rikudô were mobilized for the occasion and Pain acted as the most dangerous of all. It is thanks to his Shinra Tensei that Pain destroyed the village of Konoha and multiplied the victims, even managing to defeat Kakashi Hatake among many other shinobi.

Pain was only defeated by Naruto himself after he unleashed the chakra of Kyubi. This was the end of the Akatsuki's actions as they had almost gathered all the Bijus to carry out their plans. Thanks to his Sennin training, Naruto managed to find Nagato from Pain Rikudô's body and persuade him to put an end to his plans.

The Funko POP figure of Pain Rikudô obviously does not present her in a static and inanimate posture. To better highlight all the prowess of Rikudô, the Funko POP of Pain appears while practicing Shinra Tensei. We can guess that by the fact that his arms are spread and that he is not touching the ground anymore. Indeed, the figure of Pain Rikudô rests on a discrete base to give the impression that the character is raised.

The appearance of the POP figure of Pain is then respected to the letter with his Akatsuki coat with red clouds, and his orange haircut overhanging a face with many piercings. Piercings which act as receptors so that Nagato can exercise the Rikudô on the bodies that he manipulates thus at distance.

Very dynamic in his posture, very martial especially, the Funko POP of Pain in Rikudô mode represents him in all his splendor and his brilliance while he was attacking Konoha and reducing to nothing the hidden village of the leaf.
