POP Diego (Umbrella Academy)

Diego is number 2 at the Umbrella Academy. He is the rebel of the gang, constantly in opposition with the others, and the one who gives himself the air of "bad boy" is actually the only member of the Academy to have kept the role of vigilante.

The Umbrella Academy is a team of super heroes. They were all born on the same day, October 1, 1989, when their respective mothers were not pregnant a few minutes before. Each of them has a power, and seven of these children are adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves to form this band of vigilantes.

Diego's temperament does not match the authority and framework imposed by Sir Reginald Hargreeves, yet the young boy is not yet the rebel he will become. Indeed, as a child he fights a stutter that greatly affects his self-confidence. For this, he has the support of his mother Grace (an android invented by Sir Hargreeves) who teaches him to repeat the words in his head before saying them out loud.

Diego is one of the first to leave the Umbrella Academy after Ben's death on a mission. He will only come back after their father's death although his resentment is such that he shows no sadness. He does not hesitate to have hard words at the funeral, which will bring him an intense fight with his brother Luther, accentuating the opposite characters of the two brothers...

Although he is rebellious, undisciplined and considers himself above any rule or law, Diego (aka Number 2, 00.02 or Kraken) seems to have a very good background. He is sincerely in love with Inspector Patch, takes care of his drug-addicted brother Klaus and is the one who loves Grace the most, the one who raised the siblings despite the fact that she is only a robot.

In the Academy, Diego is a formidable fighter. His power is the ability to direct the objects he throws as he sees fit. He sends blades with a formidable precision, able to make them twirl between obstacles by defying the laws of physics! He is probably the one who trained the most and stayed in the best shape after leaving the Umbrella Academy since he continued to chase criminals "solo".
