Alan Parrish is a young boy from a well-to-do family. He stumbles upon a trunk containing the game Jumanji and takes it home without really knowing what the game is. He and his friend Sarah get into a game.

Without knowing it, Alan and Sarah have just started a game that is much more serious than a simple board game. The rules of Jumanji are simple but very impactful: the game can affect their real life and the game doesn't end until the players reach the end of the adventure and say the word Jumanji. As soon as the first dice are thrown, Alan gets sucked into the game and finds himself in a parallel world in the middle of the jungle. Frightened, Sarah runs away leaving Alan trapped...

Alan Parrish is learning how to survive in the jungle. At the crossroads of Indiana Jones and Robinson Crusoe, he develops skills but can only take his pain in patience. It is only 26 years later that two children will come to rescue him. Judy and Peter have just moved into the house which, years before, belonged to Alan's parents. There they discovered the game Jumanji and started playing. In reality, they don't start a game but take over the game started by Alan and Sarah. As the game progresses, they eventually release Alan, who returns to the real world.

However, the game is not over yet and Alan has to overcome the Jumanji in order to resume his life where he left it. He succeeds in convincing Sarah to finish the game, the 4 players being reunited, they overcome the various tests and free Alan for good.

Funko unveiled a figurine of Alan Parrish brandishing his knife. Very close to the original figurine, this one is a nod to the skill developed by Alan in the Jumanji: the handling of the knife he made to protect himself in the jungle.

Alan Parrish's POP represents him in his outfit made from what he found in the jungle, his long beard that has grown over the years and he holds his knife in his hand to defend himself. The figurine is based on the features of the actor Robin Williams who played Alan Parrish in Jumanji.
