Harry Potter is the main character in the series of fantasy novels written by the British author J.K. Rowling and adapted for the cinema. These novels tell the adventures of a young wizard named Harry Potter and his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger at the prestigious school of magic: Hogwart. When Harry is eleven years old, he discovers that he is a sorcerer and joins the school of magic. With Hagrid's help, he goes to buy his school supplies at Chemin de Traverse, including the famous holly wood magic wand in the Ollivander shop. He learns that this wand is special because it contains in its heart a feather from a phoenix that gave another of its feathers to make its twin wand: the one that caused the lightning shaped scar on his forehead, which belongs to Voldemort. Voldemort is the terrible sorcerer who killed both his parents when he was only one year old. At Hogwarts, he's going to discover a new world surrounded by magic. There he enters the House of Gryffindor during the Magic Hatting Ceremony, along with his two friends Ron and Hermione. The inseparable trio will face all the dangers, when Harry discovers his dark past but especially his destiny...

In the meantime, he discovers the pleasures of his new life at Hogwarts and his magic classes. During his first flying lesson with Professor Bibine, Harry discovers his talent for flying with a broom. He is the first to have managed to master his broom but it is Neville Londubat who manages to fly on his broom without any mastery and ends up falling. Bibine then takes him to the infirmary, forbidding everyone to fly while he is away. Draco challenges Harry to catch Neville's Rapeltout, which has fallen on the lawn and throws it into the air. Harry climbs on his broom and flies to catch the object, he succeeds and his skill is spotted by McGonagall who makes him join the Quidditch team of his house Gryffindor exceptionally. Indeed, he becomes the youngest catcher in history. McGonagall offers him a broom, the Nimbus 2000.
