POP Bernadette Rostenkowski (The Big Bang Theory)

Bernadette is one of the female characters in the series The Big Bang Theory. She forms the female "trio" with Penny and Amy. She is a microbiologist who works as a waitress at the Cheesecake Factory to pay for her studies. Penny introduces her to her friend Howard. They hook up and end up dating. When Bernadette finishes school and gets her PhD, she gets a job in a lab. She will then earn more than Howard, and that makes him jealous. After a brief separation, they get back together and Howard proposes to her. Bernadette is a character whose wise little voice and girlish looks contrast with her authoritarian side and sense of humour.
