POP Raj Koothrappali (The Big Bang Theory)

Raj Koothrappali is one of the four scientists in the geek series The Big Bang Theory. He is an astrophysicist working for Caltech University with his three friends and colleagues, Sheldon, Leonard and Howard, of whom he is best friend. Like his friends, he is passionate about comics and geek culture. Raj is of Indian descent and comes from a very wealthy family; his parents even continue to pay for his apartment despite his comfortable salary. His particularity is his great shyness: he can't speak when there is a woman around. He discovers one day, thanks to Penny, that he can do it if he drinks a little alcohol. This uninhibits him and he can speak but then becomes rude...

After this discovery, Raj got into the habit of always drinking a small drop of alcohol whenever Penny or another woman is around. On this Pop! figurine, he is represented with a martini glass in his hand. Fans of the series will recognize his very special look: green pants with brown shoes; a short-sleeved blue and red striped shirt under a sleeveless vest with retro patterns.
