POP Oswald Cobblepot (Gotham)

Oswald Cobblepot, nicknamed The Penguin, is one of Gotham's most powerful criminals. His character of psychopath and dangerous criminal will soon become an enemy of Batman and Inspector James Gordon, although he was originally "just" in the service of Fish Mooney.

Cobblepot's appearance makes him unique as he has penguin-like features with a slightly hooked nose and a white complexion in a dark suit. He is very dandy, both in his attire and in his gait.

In the Gotham TV series, The Penguin is one of the main villains: psychopathic, sadistic, cruel but also very intelligent and calculating, he seems to be devoid of feelings and kills without flinching. The only feelings he seems to have are for his mother, whom he is always afraid of disappointing... Despite his wickedness, Cobblepot also shows himself to be cowardly and fearful on many occasions. But that won't stop him from becoming one of Gotham's crime lords when he succeeds Falcone.

Funko pays homage to the character with a Cobblepot figurine in the image of the criminal. This figurine is particularly successful because the character of the series is quite extravagant in his outfits and postures. Thus we find a young man, tall and dark-haired, with bad hair and furrowed eyebrows.

Funko makes a nod to the character's nickname "The Penguin" by marking the features of Cobblepot's nose, which partly earned him this nickname. As for his clothing, the POP figure is also very faithful to the character. Cobblepot wears one of his Italian suits and a small vest over it. We find the young man dandy down to the details and accessories: perfectly aligned jacket buttons, shirt sleeves that protrude from the costume or the umbrella used as a cane.
