POP Dr. Cox (Scrubs)

In the widespread chaos that is life as a hospital intern, J.D. and Elliot, as general medical students, have few allies to hold on to. The patients are unbearable and the hospital management, dominated by the relentless and smarmy Dr. Kelso, does them no favors. The only support the general interns have is from Dr. Cox, the man J.D. unironically introduces as his mentor.

Just because he knows how to keep the interns safe from Dr. Kelso does not mean that Dr. Percival Cox is an angel. Indeed, Dr. Cox is rage personified. A storm of rage incarnate. Ruthless, angry, often hiding his ostensible annoyance behind a terrifyingly tight smile, Dr. Cox is one of the hospital's most illustrious doctors and one of the only ones to stand up to the management. Impertinent, ill-tempered, shameless and with a temper, nothing seems to resist him. At least at the hospital.

Dr. Cox, no matter how stern and angry he may be - always with his virulent sarcasm on his lips - becomes a little boy again when his ex-wife Jordan calls him to order. She is his kryptonite and he is always helpless against her. Still busy railing against J.D., it takes Dr. Cox nearly eight years to admit his affection for his protégé and his pride in being his mentor.

Clearly, Dr. Percival Cox is a big shot with a heart of gold who, however, hides it very well behind layers and layers of sourness. A bitterness left behind by his ex-wife, the frustration of his job and the jealousy he feels after Carla falls in love with another man. Overpowering and unwavering in appearance, Dr. Cox hides his weaknesses very well, even if they sometimes fail to surface. He is an emotional person in whom all emotions inevitably evolve into a form of dull and grating anger, making this flamboyant mentor so charming.

The Funko POP figure of Dr. Cox represents him with this eternal stern stance. Indeed, when he intervenes, he rubs his nose and crosses his arms nervously before letting himself go to the stream of sarcasm he is so used to. It is therefore quite natural that the POP figurine of Dr. Cox presents him with his arms crossed. We can then guess a pinched look on his face before he lets himself go to a hysterical shouting match as only he has the secret.

The Funko POP of Dr. Cox is obviously dressed in his white doctor's coat under which he is summarily dressed, taking care only of his bright blue sneakers. Around his neck, as a seasoned doctor that he is, Dr. Cox is obviously wearing a stethoscope ready for use.

From the haircut on Dr. Cox's figure, we can guess that it represents him during the first seasons of Scrubs before he shaved his head to look more severe than he was before.
