POP Rock Lee (Naruto Shippuden)

Rock Lee is a ninja from the hidden village of Konoha. He is part of the Gaï team led by Gaï Maito and composed of Neji Hyûga and Tenten.

During his childhood, at the Konoha Academy the other children made fun of him by saying that he would never manage to become a ninja. Indeed, Lee was unable to knead his chakra, he mastered neither ninjutsu nor genjutsu.

Far from being discouraged, Lee decided to specialize in the only field he had left: Taijutsu, that is to say, bare-handed combat, which calls upon the physical and mental strength of a ninja.

Lee has reached such a level of Taijutsu that he is able to release 6 of the 8 Heavenly Gates. A forbidden technique allowing to increase his chakra flow in the body tenfold, the user then accesses a colossal physical energy and speed and is able to go beyond the limits of his body. However, there is a backlash to this which shows itself by an enormous fatigue and in the worst case, the opening of the 8 doors leads to the death of the user.

Lee's dream is to become a great Taijutsu ninja and to prove to everyone that even if he doesn't master Ninjutsu and Genjutsu he can become an excellent ninja capable of surpassing geniuses. Indeed, he is an extremely persevering ninja, overflowing with energy and enthusiasm. Moreover, Gaï and him are the very incarnation of the "ardor of youth".

We see Lee with a beautiful shiny bowl cut and a tight green jumpsuit, a clothing and hair style coming from his sensei and his model Gaï Maito. In addition, his green jacket worn over his jumpsuit shows his chûnin rank.

He also has overdeveloped eyebrows, hyper thick compared to other Konoha ninjas, which is why Naruto often calls him "Big Eyebrows".
