Raphael is the red ninja turtle. More impulsive and violent than his brothers, Raphael fights regularly with them, especially with Leonardo. Nevertheless, this does not prevent him from flying to their rescue when they need help.

Splinter named him after the Renaissance painter and architect. If he knows that Raphael is more difficult to channel, Splinter also knows the full potential of his disciple to whom he teaches Ninjutsu techniques.

Raphael handles with perfection two saïs that are fine, sharp trident-shaped daggers. He is able to pin a target by throwing his saïs at full speed!
