POP Mewtwo (Pokémon)

150th Pokemon of the Pokedex, Mewtwo is a legendary Pokemon of the Psy type. What's so special about him? Being a Pokemon created by man through the manipulation of the DNA of its predecessor: Mew. More precisely, it was Team Rocket's "bad guys" who cloned Mew to create MewTwo and make it a more powerful and dangerous Pokemon.

Physically, Mewtwo is a clever mix of a cat and a gerboise (a rodent resembling a mouse). He therefore looks like a very slender feline, with a long tail and a long, lean body. He is also very tall: 2 meters long, and has long legs and arms .

So Mewtwo was created to be a weapon. It does not seem to be possessed of feelings and lives only to fight. As such, it is very fearsome and considered the strongest Pokemon among those created through genetic modification.

As a "shrink", his skills allow him to move by telekinesis, making him float in the air, while he can communicate telepathically. He also knows how to use this talent against his enemies through tension making them stressed... Note however that Mewtwo cannot evolve (although it can be considered that he is in some way an evolution of Mew).

Mewtwo's miniature is like the Pokemon: fierce and nasty! Mewtwo being very big, we find a rather large pop (of normal size but bigger than the other Pokemon). Mewtwo's pop represents the Pokemon half cat half cat standing upright, well anchored on its hind legs while it seems to point the palm of its hand towards an enemy and send a telepathic attack .

Funko represented Mewtwo with the physical characteristics we know him to be: a purple/pink Pokemon, with a long purple tail, a rather lean but muscular body and a feline head.

On the figurine, Mewtwo casts a dark look with his frowning eyebrows. If all the other Pokemon have endearing POPs, it's quite the opposite for Mewtwo who plays perfectly his role of villain on this POP!
