POP Richard (The Walking Dead)

Richard is a supporting character in the hit series The Walking Dead. Appearing in season 7, Richard was a resident and soldier of the Kingdom, a post-apocalyptic community founded by Ezekiel. Before the epidemic hit the world, Richard married a woman and became the father of a little girl named Katy. Once humanity was plunged into chaos, Richard and his family managed to find refuge in a large community. However, over time, many problems arose within this group. For some reason, a conflict broke out in the community where they were, resulting in a fire that caused the loss of his wife. Richard left his wife's inert, burned body behind him, to move forward with his daughter in search of a new place to live. After several days without food, Richard's daughter Katy will be eaten alive before his eyes. Some time after these events, Richard met Ezekiel, who was just beginning to develop the Kingdom.

The Walking Dead takes place in a world where humanity lives in chaos and terror because of awful creatures called "walkers". Until then plunged into a coma, Rick Grimes, the main protagonist of the series, wakes up to discover that the world's population has been decimated by an unprecedented epidemic. Suddenly and mysteriously, this epidemic has the particularity to transform human beings into zombies, called " walkers" in the series.

In charge of the Kingdom's security, Richard befriends Paul Rovia, a scout from a neighboring community. As a result, a relationship of trust and business could be established between the two communities. Present at the time of the arrival of the Saviours, Richard witnessed the deal made between Ezekiel and the members of this new group of survivors. In exchange for resources, the Saviors promised Ezekiel that they would never attack the Kingdom. Thus, secretly, Richard and his group began to gather supplies dedicated solely to the Saviours, as agreed. Richard made numerous deliveries to the Saviors before being discovered and killed by Morgan.

This POP figure is very similar to Richard's character. With a frightened expression, the POP Richard does not look very serene at the idea of delivering the group of Saviours again. Equipped with a gun and protections, the Funko POP Richard is ready to ensure the safety of the Kingdom.
