Child prodigy, Artemis is the hero of the eponymous Disney movie Artemis Fowl. Based on the novels of Eoin Colfer, Disney's film plunges us into a fantastic and dangerous world where young Artemis Fowl will have to struggle and use all his intelligence to avoid the traps and find his father kidnapped by the Russian mafia...

Following in his father's footsteps, Artemis becomes an expert criminal. Determined to steal gold from the fairy government, he kidnaps fairy captain Holly Short in order to achieve his goal. True to the family motto "Aurum is Potestas", which means "Gold is power", Artemis seems to have little moral guidance and does not hesitate to commit misdeeds as long as they enrich him.

Nevertheless, over time and through Artemis Fowl's encounters, we see his character evolve. If he doesn't feel any compassion towards Holly Short, considering her only as a guarantee, his feelings evolve and he shows more and more empathy.

This change in behaviour will have a strong impact on the way he manages his life and the causes he fights for, going from a selfish person willing to do anything to preserve and increase the wealth of his family to an anti-hero using his oversized intellectual capacities for the good of the world.

This little genius is a very endearing character. His egocentric sides and his tendency to become an expert on sharp subjects as varied as electronics and sociology make him a very complete anti-hero.

For this Artemis Fowl's Funko POP figurine, we find the twelve-year-old boy as he appears in the Disney movie: a pale, cold but very charismatic young man. His physique is faithful to the actor Ferdia Shaw who plays him with his brown hair whose locks fall back on his forehead.

Artemis' POP presents him in his dark suit, perfectly tailored with his thin black tie and shoes. Funko has pushed the details to the point of representing the folds of the suit pants!

Finally, on the accessories side, the figure of Artemis Fowl presents him holding the transparent tube containing the hazelnut.

This Artemis POP figurine is a very nice tribute to Colfer's fan of the novels and to all those who enjoyed the Disney movie featuring Artemis.
