POP Penny (The Big Bang Theory)

Penny is one of the main characters of The Big Bang Theory series. Originally from Nebraska, she moved to Los Angeles to become an actress but it didn't turn out as she had hoped, so she found herself working as a waitress at The Cheesecake Factory restaurant. Penny is very outgoing, rather messy and disorganized but kind and attentive. She has common sense and social intelligence, which contrasts with the other characters in the show. Following a break-up, Penny moves into a new apartment and becomes Leonard and Sheldon's next-door neighbour. It is there that she meets our two scientists/geek and soon their group of friends. Despite their different worlds, Penny fits in well with the group and will spend more and more time with them before starting a relationship with Leonard. The writers of the series play on the contrast between the nerd/geek and the pretty superficial blonde for an accentuated comic effect.

Of all the group of friends, Penny is the one with a more varied look. Always very feminine, but casual, a very Californian style. She often wears bright colors and rather short outfits with flat shoes. On this Pop! figurine, Funko represents her with a pretty pink dress with balloon sleeves and her haircut with the small fringe on the side.
