POP Dilophosaurus (with Frill) (Chase) (Jurassic Park)

The dilophosaurus is one of the famous dinosaurs of Jurassic Park. Less imposing than some of its fellow dinosaurs, including the T-Rex and Velociraptor, it finds an important place in the plot of Jurassic Park's first opus.

Jurassic Park is John Hammond's dream to open a leisure park where people can wander among flesh-and-blood dinosaurs. After years of research to extract DNA from species extinct more than 65 million years ago and still contained in fossilized mosquitoes, Hammond has his dream at his fingertips, managing to reproduce a huge number of dinosaur species. He creates a par on an island, far from today's civilization, and begins the last step before the opening: to validate the safety of the park.

It is on this occasion that he invites a few scientists for a preview, unfortunately it is also during this weekend that everything will degenerate through the fault of one man: Dennis Nedry.

Dennis is a park engineer in charge of security systems. He accepts a large sum of money in exchange for dinosaur embryos. He steals the embryos, and to escape from the park, he disables the security systems. As he flees, he comes face to face with a dinosaur that is none other than the dilophosaurus. His jeep gets stuck in the mud and he has to get out to get out. Facing the dinosaur, he tries to escape by getting back on board, but the dinosaur is fast and also gets into the jeep before spitting his venom at Dennis Nedry's head.

This POP of the dilophosaurus is a POP Chase where the dinosaur is represented without its multicoloured crests. It stands on its hind legs, opening its jaws to reveal its sharp teeth.

Without its unfolded crests, the dilophosaurus is physically very close to the velociraptor unlike the imposing eyebrow arches on the top of its head! The colors of the figure are very beautiful, a green-blue for the scales and a beige gradient for the neck.
