POP Albus Dumbledore (Harry Potter)

Dumbledore is one of the main characters in the Harry Potter literary saga, whose author is J.K. Rowling, and the films that are the adaptation of it. This saga tells the story of Harry Potter, living with his uncle and aunt Dursley, who discovers on his eleventh birthday that he is a wizard. Indeed, following the death of his parents when he was one year old, killed by Voldemort, Dumbledore entrusted Harry to his only living parents: his mother's Muggle sister (who has no magic power), Petunia Dursley. He will grow up in this family that considers him a parasite and doesn't show any tenderness towards him: he sleeps in a broom closet under the stairs while his cousin has two bedrooms for him. On his eleventh birthday, Hagrid, a half-giant who had recovered him from the ruins of his parents' house after it was destroyed by Voldemort, visits him and reveals his origins: Harry is a sorcerer. He then learns that, contrary to what he has always been told, his parents did not die in a car accident but were killed by the terrible wizard Voldemort. Hagrid also teaches him that he will join the most prestigious school of magic: Hogwarts. Harry then follows Hagrid, who first goes with him to buy his school supplies at Traverse Road.

Albus Dumbledore is the director of Hogwarts. It was he who, after Harry's parents were murdered, decided to take him away from the world of magic by entrusting him to the Dursley family. Dumbledore is one of the most powerful sorcerers of all time, the only one Voldemort ever feared. Prior to becoming Warden, Dumbledore received a brilliant education at Hogwarts, where he studied at the House of Gryffindor. When Harry enters Hogwarts, Dumbledore follows him closely, knowing his past and, more importantly, his future. Indeed, a prophecy has it that only Harry will be able to kill Voldemort.
