POP Armin Arlelt (Attack on Titan (SNK))

Armin Arlelt is one of the main protagonists of the Attack of the Titans. Originally from the district of Shiganshina, in 845, the young boy will see his native village destroyed before his eyes, by titans. Following this catastrophe, Armin decided to enlist in the Human Army, alongside his two childhood friends: Eren Jaeger and Mikasa Ackerman. In 847, the three teenagers joined the 104th Training Brigade. Naturally shy and fearful, Armin showed courage and perseverance during his military training. Moreover, Armin Arlelt will impose himself very early in history as the thinking head of the group.

The Attack of the Titans describes a world in which humanity was reduced to living within walls. There are three walls, the role of the walls is to protect humans from a great threat: the titans. In 845, an unprecedented catastrophe struck humanity: the fall of the Maria Wall. Many villages are destroyed by the titans, including the native village of Armin, Eren and Mikasa.

Animated by a dream, Armin Arlelt wishes only one thing: to leave the walls to admire the sea. Once they graduate from their military training, Armin, Mikasa and Eren will decide to join an organization called the Exploration Battalion, followed by some of their former companions from the 104th Training Brigade. In the course of his adventures in the exploration battalion, Armin will be brought into close contact with the titans but also with death. Indeed, the character will come close to death on several occasions, notably during the reconquest of the Maria Wall. Throughout his adventures, Armin Arlelt will gain in courage, until he is ready to sacrifice himself and abandon his dreams for his comrades.

During the reconquest of the Maria Wall, Armin will demonstrate a magnificent act of bravery, which will lead to his loss. Totally burned alive by the Colossal Titan and at death's door, Armin will finally be saved, but at what price? To escape death, Armin Arlelt became the new vessel of the Colossal Titan.
