POP Odie (Garfield)

Odie is one of the characters in the Garfield comic book. He is Jon's second pet (along with Garfield himself). He is a small dog, close to the light yellow Jack Russell Terrier.

Suffering pain of Garfield, it is very often victim of the mischievous cat: kick in the buttocks, burying in the ground, sending in a parcel by the Post office, etc. This does not prevent Odie from remaining an affectionate companion, an affection he shows by giving his friend Garfield a big lick!

In the various adventures, Odie appears as a loving, playful but also a bit silly dog. Garfield abuses this foolishness to tease him. The author of the comic even confessed that the name "Odie" was originally the fictional name of a character playing "the village idiot" in an advertisement...
