The Prince of Wales Charles is the heir to the British throne. Like his mother, Queen Elizabeth II holds the title of the longest reigning monarch, Charles naturally holds the longevity of the title of Prince of Wales.

Prince Charles followed a military career in the tradition of the Royal Family, first in the Navy and then as a helicopter pilot in the English Air Force. He then devoted himself fully to the duties and responsibilities of his title. If he has never made political explosions, only his attachment to the Dalai Lama has earned him positions such as his refusal to participate in official ceremonies with China.
