POP Hermione Granger at Yule Ball (Harry Potter)

Hermione is one of the main characters in the Harry Potter literary series adapted for the cinema. This series tells the adventures of a young boy named Harry who discovers that he is a wizard and that his parents, whom they thought had died in a car accident, have been killed by a terrible wizard, Voldemort. Voldemort also tried to kill little Harry, but the spell turned against him. Voldemort was weakened in the attack, but he didn't really die, he lost all human form. Harry then became famous for surviving Voldemort, he keeps a mark of this confrontation: a lightning shaped scar on his forehead.

In the King's Cross station, Harry meets Ron Weasley and his family who help him find the secret entrance to the station of the wizards' world, the track 9 ¾. Harry and Ron move into the same train compartment in the Hogwarts Express. This is the beginning of their friendship. In the same compartment, they meet the young Hermione Granger, who seems to them unfriendly but will become their friend afterwards. Hermione was born to a Muggle mother and father, meaning they have no magical powers. She is a brilliant, studious and sensitive student.

At the pupil distribution ceremony, the Magic Sorting Hat sends Hermione to the Gryffindor house, just like Harry and Ron. At first, she appears as a know-it-all because she always answers the teachers' questions, which annoys Harry and Ron a little. One day after Ron's remark that she has no friends, Hermione hides in the girls' bathroom to cry. But at the same time, a troll has broken into the castle and is heading for the girls' toilet. The two boys decide to go and save her and manage to knock her out. After that, Hermione denounces herself and saves the boys from punishment. They become the inseparable trio.

In this Pop! figurine, Hermione is depicted in her ball outfit, which she wears during the "Yule Ball", organized for the Three Wizards Tournament. Only fourth grade students can participate in this event. This is the case of Harry, Ron and Hermione. Hermione arrives at the ball on the arm of Viktor Krum, the Durmstrang school champion who also plays in the Bulgarian Quidditch team. She is dressed in a cute pink flounced dress with flounces. She has a little darker pink belt with a bow to bend the dress. Funko was very faithful to her outfit in Harry and the Gunshot and the details are beautifully reproduced. We see her wearing a nice hairstyle with curly locks around her face. Her cheeks are a little bit made up with pink foundation to accentuate the young woman's side. This figurine is really very well done!
