POP Lord Voldemort (Supersized 10'') (Harry Potter)

Voldemort, whose real name is Tom Elvis Jedusor, is the famous villain of the Harry Potter saga. He is the main enemy of the hero, he is a follower of black magic. Tom Elvis Jedusor was admitted to Hogwarts in the Slytherin House. A studious and brilliant student at the school of magic, he undertakes research to find out more about his origins. He discovers that his father was only a Muggle and his mother a witch, a direct descendant of Salazar Slytherin. He is therefore a sorcerer of mixed blood. His soul is then deformed and becomes the most dangerous sorcerer of all time. He then renames himself Lord Voldemort by taking the anagram of his name "I am Voldemort". He then seeks to rid the world of Muggle-born sorcerers, those who are not "pure blood". He also gathers around him sorcerers to form a group called the Death Eaters.

Severus Snape then serves Voldemort as a spy and brings back to him a part of the conversation between Sibylle Trelawney, the future Divination teacher and Dumbledore. This one reveals the Prophecy concerning Harry Potter and Voldemort: "He who has the power to defeat the Dark Lord is approaching... he will be born of those who have three times defied him, he will be born when the seventh month dies.

Two children, born at the end of July and born of witch parents, correspond to the beginning of the prophecy: Harry Potter and Neville Londubat. On the night of October 31, 1981, Voldemort kills Harry's parents but is unable to kill the young boy, his spell turning against him. Voldemort then loses his human form, Harry thus becomes the "Survivor". From this attack, he keeps a lightning scar on his forehead. Harry will be entrusted to his aunt Petunia and it is only ten years later that he learns that he is a sorcerer. He enters Hogwarts and from the first year, the shadow of Voldemort hovers over him.

Indeed, Voldemort tries to regain human form to kill Harry Potter, who according to the Prophecy is the only one capable of killing the dangerous sorcerer.

For this exclusive Pop! figurine, Funko has represented Voldemort in a supersized version. He is depicted as he appears in the movie. You can recognize his pale skin, bald skull and absent nose with only two slits in place of the nostrils. He has no eyebrows, but his eyebrow arches are prominent. He wears a black dress. He has his Nagini snake around his shoulders, his mouth wide open and sticking out his tongue. One can see his sharp white teeth. The scales of the snake are also represented on this Pop! Voldemort is holding his wand in his left hand.
