POP Miranda Bailey (Grey's Anatomy)

Miranda Bailey is one of the main characters in Grey's Anatomy, the series featuring the life of a fictional hospital, Seattle Grace Hospital, renamed Grey Sloan Memorial in season 9. In the American series, we follow the daily life of various doctors and surgeons in their long working day as well as their personal and sentimental life with its ups and downs. The characters are all very endearing, some make friends, others love, they form a big family and help each other.

Dr. Miranda Bailey is played by actress Chandra Wilson who won the Screen Actor's Guild Award for her role in the series. At the beginning of the series, Miranda Bailey is in charge of the new class of interns, which includes Meredith Grey. Despite her small size, she is nicknamed the "Tyrant" by her interns because she is very tough and does not let herself be stepped on. She is a strong and independent woman and a very good doctor who will grow with the seasons and gain the respect of all her colleagues.

She is a woman with a strong character, she does not hesitate to talk to her superiors as well as to her own interns. The Chief of Surgery, Dr. Richard Webber takes her under his protection and hopes to see her one day as Chief of Surgery. Miranda is an example for the interns, despite her firm and authoritarian side, she mothers her little protégés as if they were her own children.

Miranda Bailey is a central character of the series, that's why Funko Pop is releasing a Pop figurine with her effigy. Like all the other doctors in this first Pop series, we find her in her navy blue attending outfit. She wears a pair of red sneakers at her feet, perhaps a nod to her passion for her profession. She is also dressed in a white medical gown. Her face is recognizable by her mid-long square cut with brown hair. Finally, in terms of posture, she puts one hand on her hips.
