POP action figure of Naruto on Gamakichi #106

Naruto's background is not different from that of the frogs. Indeed, he is Jiraiya's heir as far as his dispositions are concerned and he inherited the same Kuchiyose pacts (summoning jutsus) from his master. The three Sannins, the title of these legendary ninjas who were the students of the third Hokage Hiruzen Sarurobi, each had their own particularity and affinity regarding their jutsus, including their Kuchiyose.

Where Orochimaru was bound to summoning pacts with many snakes, while Tsunade had a giant slug as her pet, Jiraiya had summoning contracts with frogs. The animals that can be summoned in Naruto are usually supernatural creatures that can't stay in the human world for very long, just long enough to do their duty after being summoned from their world thanks to the chakra of the one who summons them.

The gigantic Bunta was then the most powerful frog that could be summoned by Kuchiyose, his contract binding him to Jiraiya and occasionally to Naruto. When Naruto went to train in the way of the Sennin in the world from which these numerous frogs were summoned, he made a pact with Gamakichi who later accompanied him in his fights and in one of them in particular: Naruto's fight against Pain.

Just initiated to his Sennin training, Naruto survived in Konoha with Gamakichi on whom he had arrived. Together, they painfully defeated Pain, thus putting a violent stop to the Akatsuki's activities. This partnership between Naruto and Gamakichi was reminiscent of the duo that Jiraiya and Bunta had formed in the past; the two of them wanted to be Naruto's and Gamakichi's respective masters, these students who were then following in their footsteps.

Far from being as big as his master Bunta who was almost as big as a castle, Gamakichi is barely bigger than a table. This can be seen on the Funko POP figure of Naruto and Gamakichi; the frog, with red and ink colors for the pattern that covers it, is less big than the one perched on his skull.

Indeed, the figurine of Naruto and Gamakichi presents the two companions in such a way that Naruto is actually standing on his companion, like a steed. The POP figure of Naruto and Gamakichi details both of them. Thus, we can see from the Naruto and Gamakichi Funko POP that Naruto, because of the appearance of his eyes, has reached the Sennin way. Indeed, his pupils are then flat and horizontal like those of a frog. Moreover, Naruto, with this Funko POP figure of Naruto and Gamakichi, is wearing a scroll of summoning under his arm as well as the same cloak as his then deceased master.

The posture of the figure of Naruto on Gamakichi is identical to the one of the two companions when they appeared in Konoha to oppose Pain. This fight was then the one of a furious revenge that the two companions will accomplish together in the honor of Jiraiya.
