POP Young Ben (Bloody) (Umbrella Academy)

Ben is a member of the Umbrella Academy, adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves at an early age. His power is to have the ability to pop tentacles out of his body and use them to knock out his enemies!

The Umbrella Academy is the series featuring seven brothers and sisters with super powers. Unfortunately the clan explodes when Ben dies on a mission. All of them particularly blame their father for having pushed them on a too perilous path...

Although he is dead, Ben remains very present in the series since his brother Klaus has the power to communicate with the dead. He appears as a ghost, and despite the fact that only Klaus can see him, seems to participate in the various family reunions. Indeed the members of the Umbrella Academy meet again for the funeral of their father.

Funko was already proposing a POP of Ben figurine where we discovered the young man with the tentacles coming out of his body, but Funko proposes this time a POP of Ben as a child, exclusive to the New York Comic Con 2020.

Ben's child POP is taken from one of the first scenes of the series where we discover the Umbrella Academy on a mission. The six children (since Vanya has no powers and is not part of the Umbrella Academy) are sent to thwart a bank robbery.

At the end of the mission, Ben's tentacles shred the criminals and Ben finds himself completely covered in blood, as we discover on this POP. Ben is wearing the academy's suit, a schoolboy suit with relatively short shorts, a white shirt, a black tie, a small vest and the suit jacket with the Umbrella Academy crest on it. Ben also wears a mask over his eyes.

If he is covered in blood on this POP figurine, we recognize the physique of the little boy with his brown hair and his skin a little more matt. He is holding his arms along his body, probably a little stunned by all the blood he has on him!
