POP action figure of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
On May 19, 2018, one of the most spied on weddings in the world is celebrated in St. George's Chapel of Windsor Castle: the wedding of American actress Meghan Markle and Prince Harry! A few hours earlier, Harry was made Duke of Sussex by his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, then at 1pm the royal couple left the chapel for a parade in a carriage to the acclaim of the British people.
As for the wedding of his brother William with Kate Middleton, the ceremony was very well attended all over the world...
It is this royal event that Funko wanted to immortalize in a duo pack where we find Meghan and Harry in their wedding outfit. The Duchess and the Duke of Sussex are depicted as the two lovers leave the chapel.
Meghan Markle is therefore dressed in her wedding gown, entirely white and in a rather traditional and simple style while being at the height of elegance. Entirely made of silk, with a lace veil of more than 5 meters on which the 53 states of the Commonwealth are represented, the dress is magnificent on this POP of Meghan Markle. The young bride obviously holds a bouquet in her hand while her other hand touches Prince Harry's hand.
On this POP, Harry is also dressed in the official uniform he wore at his wedding. A dark suit which is his military uniform of the Blues and Royals. Queen Elizabeth II even allowed her grandson to keep his beard for a few days for the occasion, which is normally incompatible with the uniform! Funko pushed the details on the uniform with the different badges and medals, letting appear as the only touches of color the white belt and the red stripes of the pants.
