The three Marvel Zombies Pops due in January 2027 follow the order of the story. Thanos, Infinity Hulk and the Queen of the Dead form the three links of a single chain of cause and effect, the one that leads to the final shot of season 1. If you haven't watched the four episodes, what follows spells them out.
A show born from a What If...? episode
Marvel Zombies landed on Disney+ on September 24, 2025, all four episodes at once. It picks up the zombie episode of What If...? from 2021 and returns to the planet where that episode left it: overrun, with a handful of survivors led by Kamala Khan. On April 6, 2026, Marvel Television head Brad Winderbaum confirmed a second season, with production already well underway. No date has been given.
Funko covered the show at launch with Blade Knight (#1552), Zombie Hawkeye (#1553) and Zombie Captain America (#1554). This second batch comes as a single block, #1667 to #1669, and it deals with the ending.
Thanos falls, and the Gauntlet goes with him
Zombie Thanos – Pop #1667. The Mad Titan clutches the Infinity Gauntlet, and everything starts there. In the show, Black Panther sacrifices himself to bring him down and destroys the Gauntlet in the process. Six shattered Stones release enough energy to threaten Wakanda, then the rest of the world.
What the name Infinity Hulk actually means
Infinity Hulk – Pop #1669. Bruce Banner absorbs that energy to stop the disaster. The name is more precise than it looks. Thanos wore the Stones set in a glove, on the outside. Banner carries what's left of them after their destruction, and he carries it on the inside. The Pop takes that literally: a black body streaked with the colors of all six Stones.
It's the only one of the three in the Premium format, in a box wider than a standard Pop. For once the format has a reason to exist, since this character holds the power of an entire Gauntlet on his own.
The Queen of the Dead takes the pot
Queen of the Dead – Pop #1668. Wanda Maximoff, a zombie, yet clear-headed enough to rule over the others. In the last episode she takes down Infinity Hulk, absorbs his power and uses Kamala Khan to remake the world. The final shot comes down to one line: "So the world begins again."
It's her second zombie Pop. The first, Zombie Scarlet Witch (#943), came out in September 2021 with the What If...? wave, back when the Scarlet Witch was just a monster Vision kept in chains. From one box to the next, the character went from the cage to the throne.
Our take: the show's heroine is missing
My favorite is Infinity Hulk, by a wide margin. It's the only design of the three that didn't exist before the show. The other two are zombie takes on characters the catalog knows by heart, while nobody saw this black, color-veined Hulk coming. The Queen of the Dead comes right behind, because she remains the announced villain of season 2.
Thanos is the weakest piece. The sculpt is careful, but his role in the story fits in one scene, and in that scene, the object that matters is the Gauntlet being destroyed.
The real gap is Kamala Khan. Ms. Marvel leads the survivors for four episodes, the final shot hinges on her, and she still has no Pop in the license. Funko released the villain, the man who absorbed the blast and the woman who collected everything, and forgot the person the whole show revolves around. Black Panther, whose sacrifice sets off the whole chain, is missing too.
All three figures are up for pre-order, with release announced for January 2027.
