Funko had not touched Breaking Bad in roughly a decade. The license returns in October 2026 with seven releases: the Walt-Jesse-Gus trio, Saul Goodman, two exclusive variants and, above all, the original RV in Pop! Rides format. Pre-orders are open.
A license that stayed on the shelf for years
The first-generation Breaking Bad POP figures date back to the mid-2010s, and they have been vaulted for years. On the secondary market, some now sell for well over €50, which gives a good idea of how much unmet demand has built up.
Merchandising around the series has always been a complicated subject. In October 2014, Toys “R” Us removed Mezco’s Breaking Bad figures from its shelves after a Florida mother launched a petition criticizing the toys’ accessories: a small bag of meth and a stack of cash. Bryan Cranston responded on Twitter that he was so angry he was going to burn his “Florida Mom” action figure in protest. Aaron Paul shared the counter-petition.
Twelve years later, Funko is back with a Heisenberg still holding blue meth in his hand. Times have changed.
Walt with the lab RV – POP Rides #310
This is the piece collectors had been waiting for. The Fleetwood Bounder RV, Walt and Jesse’s first laboratory, the one Jesse nicknamed “the Crystal Ship”.
That RV represents the entire first half of the series: the desert cooks, the pilot scene with Walt driving in his underwear, the dead battery, and eventually its destruction at the scrapyard. Funko has turned it into a Pop! Rides figure measuring around 13 cm, listed at approximately €34.90 by the first French retailers.
No other figure in the wave tells the story of the series quite as well on its own.
Heisenberg, Jesse and Gus: the foundation of the collection
- Heisenberg – POP #1934: the pork pie hat, the glasses and blue meth in his hand. Funko chose to represent the product rather than the man, which makes sense: the blue is the signature, the brand, the thing that makes Walt recognizable throughout the American Southwest.
- Jesse Pinkman – POP #1935: the apprentice turned partner. A completely new sculpt compared with the old vaulted POP.
- Gus Fring – POP #1933: the immaculate suit of the Los Pollos Hermanos owner. The character’s double life is entirely captured by this appearance as an unassuming fast-food manager.
These three figures are available for around €16 on pre-order.
Bloodied Gus Fring – POP #1936: the box cutter scene
The most graphic variant in the wave. Gus in an orange laboratory suit, covered in blood.
For anyone who has seen the series, the reference is unmistakable: the opening of season 4, when Gus puts on lab gear, slits Victor’s throat with a box cutter in front of Walt and Jesse, changes clothes again and leaves without saying a word. One of the most chilling scenes in American television of the 2010s, and Funko has chosen to turn it into a figure.
Prices start at €19.99, with some retailers charging considerably more. This is an exclusive release, so it is one to watch closely.
Walter White in the green apron and Saul Goodman: the other two exclusives
- Walter White green apron – POP #1937: Walt in his laboratory outfit, announced as a Specialty Series release at around €19.99. A more understated version than the classic Heisenberg, showing the chemist rather than the kingpin.
- Saul Goodman – POP #1938: Albuquerque’s most profitable lawyer, available as an Amazon exclusive. No price is currently listed by French retailers, which suggests availability may be tight. It is surprising that it took until 2026 to get a Breaking Bad POP of him, considering Better Call Saul ran for six seasons.
One thing to note: exclusive retailers vary between sources and countries. Check the exact version before pre-ordering, as the sticker on the box can affect the figure’s value.
A wave making up for ten years of absence
Seven releases, three exclusives, one Pop! Rides and no duplication of the vaulted range. Funko has built a wave that works just as well for long-time Breaking Bad collectors as it does for people who never had the chance to buy the originals.
The RV and the bloodied Gus are the two to secure first: the former because it is the obvious centerpiece, the latter because its exclusive status and subject matter are likely to make it highly sought after. Release is scheduled for October 2026.
