Funko unveils the POP of a mega villain for Warner's 100th anniversary

Funko has made a habit of producing POP figures of super villains, but usually in the Disney, Star Wars or Marvel universes. Now it's off to Warner and DC with one of the greatest villains of all time, Superman's sworn enemy: Lex Luthor.

Given the stature of the character, there are actually very few POP figurines featuring Lex Luthor (just one from the Smallville series and one for the DC Super Heroes set, where Lex is in an exoskeleton); so here's the 3rd POP and certainly the opportunity to get your hands on Lex as a figurine (as the others are hard to find...).

For the occasion, Funko has perfectly captured the megalomaniac/evil/ambitious side of Superman's enemy. Depicted in a pink and green super villain costume, with little reactors attached to his boots that allow him to fly, this Lex Luthor POP is taken directly from the comics. Of course, Lex's look is very faithful: terrifying eyes, bald head and the attitude of a rich megalomaniac eager to hold all the power in his hands. The POP is so good, you'd expect Superman to show up and take on Lex!

The POP is a representation of Lex as seen in Superman #282 (Lex Luthor: Super Scalp-Hunter!) published in 1974! A fine tribute for this anniversary from Warner Bros.
