It's one of the great Disney classics (and a favorite Disney Princess): The Little Mermaid is coming back to theaters this year in a live-action movie, and Funko has just unveiled POP figures from the film. A set of 6 POPs that takes us back to the ocean and the incredible world of Ariel!
For this first wave of POPs (because it is likely that others will follow), we find the main characters and some nice surprises. Indeed, Funko has unveiled the POPs of Ariel, the villain Ursula, Prince Eric, King Triton but also two exceptional POPs :
- the Diamond Glitter figure of Ariel, a nice tribute to this Disney princess;
- the Deluxe POP of Ariel and her friends where the little mermaid is represented sitting on a rock and surrounded by various small characters.
Of course, the figurines of Ariel take the features of the actress Halle Bailey chosen to embody the young girl in the cinema.
The movie promises to be much more than a simple "remake" with brand new songs and more complete personality traits of some characters. This will delight the fans of the first hour, who are certainly impatient to discover The Little Mermaid version 2023.
Only a few days left to wait before the release in theaters! In the meantime, POP figurines of The Little Mermaid are already available for pre-order.
