Funko's tribute to this great rock band

For once, Funko is paying tribute to one of the greatest rock bands of all time with two exceptional POP figures.

If I say Freddie Mercury? We're talking Queen, of course! The group already had nearly fifteen POP figures in its effigy, but Funko is continuing to make announcements to the delight of fans.

For this announcement, two very different packs have been unveiled. Details below.

A multipack from the legendary I Want to Break Free video clip

It's probably one of Queen's most famous emancipation anthems, but certainly THE most mythical clip too, and Funko has chosen "I Want to Break Free" to "popify" the members of Queen in the clip's outfits.

So we find Freddie Mercury vacuuming, Brian May in a nightdress with curlers, John Deacon as the Queen of England in a black outfit (we'd also have liked to find him reading the newspaper!) and finally Roger Taylor as a little schoolgirl with a skirt and bows in his blond hair!

This is clearly one of the best tributes to the band's satirical side, and fans won't go wrong collecting this multipack of I Want To Break Free.

A POP Deluxe Moment from the Wembley Stadium concert

Second announcement, and another huge bombshell: a POP Deluxe Moment. The figurine immortalizes one of Queen's most legendary concerts, at Wembley Stadium!

Queen's concerts at Wembley Stadium were unforgettable moments for the band's fans. They were marked by the band's incredible energy, Freddie Mercury's outstanding vocal performance and the spectacular production.

Queen gave two concerts at Wembley Stadium in London, England, on July 11 and 12, 1986. These concerts took place during the Magic Tour. Both concerts were sold out, with over 72,000 spectators each night...

POP immortalizes the show's grand finale, when Freddie Mercury dons his royal cape and crown, launching a "God bless you" to the crowd to close this incredible concert.

If you're a fan, this is certainly one of the jewels in your collection...

Last but not least: this is the very first "Moment" by a music group, and we can imagine Queen inaugurating the series. Other iconic bands and concerts will certainly be "popified" soon!
