Funko continues to revisit the movies of the 90's for this day of the Funko Fair 2021 dedicated to movies. This time, the brand of figurines tackles the movie White Men Can’t Jump directed by Ron Shelton and released in 1992.
The film tells the story of a duo, Billy Hoyle and Sidney Deane, who team up on the basketball courts to earn some money. Their secret weapon to deceive their opponents? Letting people think Billy sucks just because he's white! The effect of surprise is guaranteed and the two comrades manage to pocket money easily ...
Funko pays a beautiful tribute to these two characters and their actors (Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes) with POPs in their effigies. They are of course in sportswear, ready to fight! Billy wears a tricolor cap, a white t-shirt with half-long sleeves and gray shorts. Sidney wears a white cap, a yellow vest and black shorts. Lu duo is reunited!
