POP Dog (The Walking Dead)

Appeared in season 9 of The Walking Dead, Dog is Daryl Dixon's dog. While he was in the forest, Daryl found an abandoned dog. Endowed with a big heart, Daryl decided to adopt him and raise him. He gave him the name "Dog". Daryl and Dog have a deep relationship. Time and again Daryl puts Dog before himself by getting food for him at the expense of his own safety. Dog is very attached to his owner and pays great attention to Daryl and does not hesitate to defend him.

The Walking Dead depicts a world in which humanity is plunged into total chaos because of terrible creatures called "walkers". Hitherto in a coma, Rick Grimes, the main character of the series, discovers with horror when he wakes up to discover that the world's population is hit by an unknown epidemic. Very frightening and mysterious, this epidemic has the specificity to transform human beings into undead, also called "walkers".

Although he is only an animal, Dog is very present and occupies an important place in the series. Moreover, he knows how to be very useful to the rest of the group by killing walkers. He even managed to get rid of a member of the Whisperers group, led by Alpha. Missing for several years, Rick Grimes and Dog do not know each other. However, Dog has a very good relationship with his daughter, Judith Grimes. Currently, Dog is the only living pet in The Walking Dead.
