POP Alpha (The Walking Dead)

Appearing only in season 9, Alpha is the main antagonist of the 9th and 10th season of The Walking Dead. At the head of the group of whisperers and mother of Lydia, Alpha is a character who knows how to be cunning and cruel to survive. Currently, Alpha is the saddest female antagonist to have killed the most characters in The Walking Dead. Halfway between monster and human, Alpha is a character whose real name no one knows. Highly controversial, Alpha will have made much ink flow in the series because of his great intelligence and his legendary sadism.

The plot of The Walking Dead takes place in a world in which humanity is plunged into chaos and terror, because of terrible creatures, called "walkers". Rick Grimes, the main protagonist of the series, falls into a coma and wakes up to discover that the world's population is affected by an unknown epidemic. Very frightening and full of mysteries, this epidemic has the particularity of transforming human beings into zombies, also called "walkers".

Deprived of humanity, Alpha is an uncontrollable and unstoppable person. The people who have opposed her have mostly met a fatal fate. Alpha does not hesitate to sacrifice those close to her, as she demonstrated by killing her husband in front of her own daughter. There is no room for the weak in the group of "whisperers" that Alpha leads. Known for her peculiar survival methods, Alpha and her faithful Whisperers cover themselves with the carcasses of walkers in order to survive. In fact, the Whisperers have captured many walkers to create a truly super-powerful army. During the 11th episode of season 9 of the series, Alpha finally meets the heroes of The Walking Dead. Alpha will then have only one goal, to recover his daughter Lydia captured by Daryl and Michonne.
