POP King Bradley (Chase) (Fullmetal Alchemist)

In this form, Fuehrer King Bradley is no longer the supreme authority of Amestris or the general-in-chief of the Central City army, he is what he has always pretended not to be: Wrath. Where the Homunculi would have scattered and hidden to escape the hunt of the state alchemists, Wrath was under the noses and beards of all those he commanded. What better way to escape the hunt than to be the one who ordered it in the first place?

Wrath is an evil genius and the centerpiece of the Homunculi's chessboard for producing a new philosopher's stone. Unlike his fellow Homunculi, Wrath never displays excessive cruelty, although he does indulge in some impressive murderous episodes in the course of his duty.

He is not an unrestrained figure of evil. Although he doesn't admit it, Wrath, in order to pass himself off as a normal human, has been forced to lead a family life in order to better hide in the crowd. He was the only Homunculus to age, which made him unsuspecting of his true nature. He led a very wise family life with his wife, even adopting a child who was none other than Pride, the second Homunculus hidden under everyone's nose.

Wrath revealed his scheme - of which he was only an instrument - at the time of the Central City Civil War. He was then forced to face Greed merged with Ling Yao and supported by Fu and Buccaneer. A fight which for them, seemed lost in advance as King Bradley was invulnerable...

Indeed, with only two swords, he could annihilate an entire garrison. The Homunculus power that was his, lodged in the eye that he hid behind a blindfold, allowed him to avoid any impact. On the condition that he could see it coming, however. This weakness being then the objective cause of his perdition. This, not without counting the cunning of his opponents.

The POP figure of King Bradley in its Chase version is not so different in appearance from the one in its normal form. When Envy or Glutonny can change shape drastically between their human appearance and that of Homunculus is revealed, the King Bradley figure reveals him in his human form. In fact, there is only one difference (but a big one) between the Chase version shown here and the classic POP version of King Bradley: his eye....

In addition to her long blue Amestris army uniform, King Bradley's Chase POP is unique in that she does not wear a usual accessory: the blindfold that hides her left eye. Underneath, there is not a hollowed eye but the organ in which all his Homunculus powers lie. On this POP Chase, King Bradley presents a red eye in the center of which we find the sign of alchemy that all the other Homunculi carry on a part of their body.
