POP Hopper with vines (Stranger Things)

Jim Hopper is Hawkins' Chief of Police in the Stranger Things series. Since the first season episodes, Hopper has developed a trusting relationship with Joyce Byers and her children and a particular distrust for the men in Hawkins' lab.

Although everything seems to be in order, Hopper has a secret: he hides Eleven in his home to protect her and allow her to grow up away from the scientists in the lab. He has set rules for the girl, including never going out, and has set up numerous security codes to deal with her.

In season 2, Hopper is called on a special mission by farmers. Their crops are ravaged and everything seems to indicate that it is a poisoning between rival farmers. The story becomes more complicated when Hopper realizes that the affected crops spread over hectares all around the city.

Hopper then discovers Will's drawings that seem to be possessed by the monster. He makes the connection between the networks drawn by the boy and what is happening underground. Following his lead, the chief of police decides to go underground to explore these strange galleries.

It is this scene that Funko has chosen to immortalize with this POP of Hopper as the roots embrace him to trap him. On the figurine, Hopper is already very sweaty and dirty, he struggles against the roots and holds in his hand a small knife to cut the branches around him.

On the POP, Hopper is wearing his police uniform with brown pants. He also wears a white sweater and a scarf around his neck to protect himself from the toxic air in the underground galleries. Finally, this POP figurine is particularly successful with the effect of the roots which already encircle the legs and arms of the chief of police! Fortunately, this one will be rescued by Jocyce and Bob Newby.
