POP Blue (Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom)

Blue is one of the velociraptors bred in Jurassic World is trained by Owen Grady. Just like the other dinosaurs, Blue is a female. Her particularity? She's the leader of the velociraptor pack. Smarter and stronger than her fellow creatures, Blue is surprising by her abilities but also by her blue colour which gives her her name. In fact, Blue was conceived from the DNA of a varan from the steppes of Africa, giving it this particular color...

Dinosaur behaviour expert Owen Grady has been raising Blue since she was a little girl, creating a special bond between the two beings. The two understand each other and seem to have created a greater intimacy than with any other dinosaur in the park. Blue obeys Owen's every command and shows a form of respect for him.

She's not the only velociraptor in the park, her pack consists of three other dinosaurs: Charlie, Delta and Echo. It is the entire pack that is called upon to hunt the Indominus Rex when it escapes from its enclosure. The velociraptors are then equipped and led by Owen Grady in pursuit of the genetically improved dinosaur. Their help will be invaluable in defeating the Indominus, even though the velociraptors are no match for the most ferocious specimens ever created...

Blue is the most endearing dinosaur in Jurassic World. Torn between her instincts and her relationship with Owen Grady, she is torn between devouring men and obeying her trainer's orders to do no harm at all. Until the end of the first episode of Jurassic World, Blue is exceptional. At the end of the film, she casts a last touching glance at her trainer before fleeing into the jungle to regain her freedom!

Blue's POP action figure is very beautiful. It represents the velociraptor standing on his strong hind legs. The female can be recognized by the blue markings on her eyes and back, which contrast with the dinosaur's scaly grey skin. Funko represents Blue's POP as if she is standing ready to follow Owen's instructions. Also note the open jaw that reveals the sharp teeth and pink tongue of the velociraptor. Finally, the details do not forget the sharp claws on each of the legs!
