POP Timon (Flocked) (The Lion King)

Timon is a red-haired meerkat and is best friends with the warthog Pumbaa in the cartoon The Lion King. This Disney film, an all-generations classic, tells the story and destiny of young Simba, son of Mufasa, king of the Land of Lions. As the king's son, Simba is destined to take his place when he grows up. But Simba is a very carefree young lion cub who thinks a lot about having fun with his childhood friend Nala. He is also very reckless and has an adventurous temperament. Forgetting his father's warnings, he finds himself in danger on several occasions. Mufasa is a very loving and protective father and is a role model for his son. He embodies all the values that make the greatest kings. His relationship with Simba is very fusional, he tries to spend time with his son to pass on the fundamental principles to the future king, values that he himself received from his ancestors.

Unfortunately, because of the cruelty of his uncle Scar, Simba will lose his bearings with the death of Mufasa. He then finds himself alone and helpless in this hostile world. Pushed by his uncle, Simba fled into the desert and fainted from exhaustion when Timon and Pumbaa were playing their favourite game "buzzard bowling" which consists of throwing themselves at a group of vultures to make them waltz like skittles. These two curious animals will then take care of Simba and will in a way be the adoptive parents of the young lion cub. They teach him the carefree life, the Hakuna Matata, and introduce him to a diet based on larvae and insects.

Timon has not an easy character, he is totally self-centered and of bad faith. He doesn't hesitate to appropriate the good ideas of his friend the warthog Pumbaa. But both friends are retarded children and only think about having fun and enjoying life, which suits Simba who will spend her childhood and adolescence with them.

This is the flocked version of the special figurine representing the meerkat Timon.

We recognize his beige and red coat. He is standing in the vigilant position of the meerkats. On this figurine, Funko represented the outline of his eyes in black. Some of the physical features of the cartoon character are recognizable, such as his red coat on the top of his head and his mischievous look.
