POP Barbara Holland (Barb) (Stranger Things)

Barbara, known as Barb, is Nancy Wheeler's best. This uptight, first in class girl is rather reserved. A faithful friend, she plays the good conscience for Nancy, imploring her to be vigilant as she begins a flirtation with Steeve Harrington, the popular high school boy!

The story accelerates for Barbara as Steeve invites her and Nancy to his home, taking advantage of her parents' absence to organize a small party. The beer is flowing, the young teenagers throw themselves into the pool and Barbara is completely uncomfortable. The reserved young woman tries to join the group by agreeing to drink a beer, but she cuts her hand trying to open it. She leaves to take care of herself in the house and isolates herself for the rest of the evening, leaving the young couple to enjoy themselves .

When Barbara settles down by the pool, drops of blood continue to flow from her hand. This is what attracts the Demogorgon, the monster of the upside down world, which in a split second carries Barb away. This is the second disturbing disappearance after Will's disappearance a few days earlier...

It is Barbara's disappearance that worries Nancy and launches her into the investigation of the strange phenomena that occur. There are now three parallel investigations: that of the chief of police accompanied by Will's mother, that of the boys helped by Eleven and that of Nancy who is getting closer to Jonathan Byers, Will's brother.

Very quickly, we understand that Barabara was less fortunate than Will and didn't manage to survive in the upside down world, killed by the Demogorgon. Nevertheless, his character continues to exist because his parents, left without explanation about the disappearance of their daughter, continue the investigation.

Funko pays tribute to a secondary character of the Stranger Things series with this figurine featuring Barbara Holland. We find the young girl with the look a little "stuck" with her big glasses, her short red hair and her small freckles on her cheeks.

In this POP, Barb is wearing a rather slim beige pants, small brown shoes and a pink top. Funko pushed the detail by representing the coquetry of the young woman with her make-up around her eyes, making the figurine very successful.
