POP Will (8-bit) (Stranger Things)

Will Byers is one of the main characters of Stranger Things, the series of Netflix following the strange phenomena that occur in the small town of Hawkins and seem to be related to his laboratory .

The story of Stranger Things begins with Will's mysterious disappearance in season 1, when the boy rides his bike home from a party at his friend Mike's house and never makes it home. Parallel investigations by his friends (Mike, Lucas and Dustin), by Sheriff Hopper and Joyce (Will's mother) or by his brother Jonathan accompanied by Nancy Wheeler also search for his friend Barbara who mysteriously disappeared ...

As the episodes unfold, we understand that Will is trapped in the world upside down, and is threatened by Demogorgon. The various investigations point towards Hawkins' laboratory which tries as best as it can to camouflage the affair, claiming for example that young Will was found drowned in a lake.

This POP figure from Stranger Things is a POP 8 Bit, a nice nod to the series for its geek and retro style! Will's POP is faithful to the character in season 1 since he is dressed in the same clothes he was wearing when he disappeared: his orange and yellow jacket, his blue jeans and black sneakers. This POP corresponds to POP Will Byers #426, in 8 bits / pixelized version this time!

In spite of the 8 bits effect of the POP, Funko did an exceptional work to make the character's features perfectly recognizable, especially with Will's "bowl cut" haircut or the very skinny body of the boy.

Finally, and just like for the other POP 8 Bit, the POP box has a different style with the Stranger Things logo, the POP number or its name which are pixelized!
