The Lion King Simba with Leaf Mane (Flocked) #0302 Funko Pop! figure

Simba is the main character in the Disney cartoon The Lion King. As a child, he has a light yellow coat and an adorable little mug with a little puff of hair on his head. He is the son of the King of Lionland, Mufasa and Queen Sarabi. At the beginning of the film, we see him at a baptism ceremony celebrated by the wise Rafiki, the adviser of the kingdom of Lions' Land. He then introduces Simba with his dust spot on his forehead to all the animals of the savannah by carrying him at arm's length on the rock. As a child, Simba has a small character and thinks that everything is allowed to him, as the son of Mufasa and future king. He does not hesitate to disobey his father who forbids him to go outside the limits of the kingdom. Manipulated by his uncle Scar, he ventures notably with his friend Nala beyond the borders to explore the elephant cemetery. He will show his character again in the scene where he sings "Je voudrais dejà être roi" (I would like to be king already). Indeed, during a walk with his friend Nala, Zazu who accompanies them explains that they will have to get married when they grow up. The two lion cubs are disgusted and mock the red-beaked bird, saying that Simba, being a future king, would do whatever he wanted.

On this Pop! figurine, we can see young Simba with his angel-like face and his fake mane made of red leaves around his neck. Funko represents the character in the scene where he sings "I would already like to be king" to Zazu. He is sitting on his four legs. His tail ending on a small dark brown tuft is a little up in the air. You can recognize his pretty orange-yellow coat and his big eyes surrounded by darker fur. Its small smile reveals two small teeth. This figurine is a flocked version of an existing figurine where you can see Simba with her pretty red leaf mane giving her the look of an adult lion.
