About the Yelena (Chase) #1213 POP! figure
Lucky fans, the Yelena Belova POP is now available in a Chase version. The figure is similar to the original, except that the young woman is completely masked in the Chase version. There's no blond hair, no determined look - just a "ninja" in a black jumpsuit, with only the night-vision goggles adding a touch of color.
Yelena Belova is introduced to the Marvel universe through the Black Widow mini-series. She also makes an appearance in the Hawkeye series, where she is dispatched to avenge the disappearance of Natasha Romanoff. Convinced that Hawkeye is responsible, she is determined to accomplish her mission.
Along with Maya Lopez and Kate Bishop's stepfather, Yelena Belova is one of the antagonists in the miniseries, due to air on Disney+ in late 2021. She disappeared during Thanos's big snap, then reappeared in 2023, embarking on a quest for revenge against Hawkeye. As Hawkeye seeks to close his Ronin past, he will also have the opportunity to reveal the truth to Yelena and close the chapter on Natasha Romanoff...
This Chase version features Yelena's POP in combat gear, as she makes contact with Hawkeye to eliminate him. A night fighter and over-trained professional, Yelena is perfectly equipped, and that's exactly what you'll find on the POP figurine dedicated to her.
Combat suit, weapons in each hand, night vision goggles, etc.: this is the POP of a soldier on a mission. It's a figure that's very faithful to the character in the series, even if it's just as interesting to collect the classic POP that gives a glimpse of the young Russian spy's face.
