The band, consisting of Billie Joe Armstrong (guitar and vocals), Mike Dirnt (bass) and Al Sobrante (drums) formed in late 1989 in the East Bay, California. Considered one of the most famous alternative rock bands of today, pioneer of the movement that relaunched punk and known worldwide for its titles like Jesus of Suburbia, Basket Case or 21 Guns.
Between resounding successes, darker periods, scandals with exploding guitars on stage, one thing is certain: Green Day has left its mark by its talent and personality, making this American punk rock band a must-have for Funko!
It is on the occasion of the (rather mysterious) Palooza 2021 event which takes place from June 30 to July 1, 2021 that Funko revealed the three POPs of Green Day. We find naturally: the POP of Billie Joe Armstrong with his guitar, the POP of Mike Dirnt with his bass and finally the POP of Tre Cool raising his sticks in the air.
